ABOUT ME

Golf has been a part of my entire life. Since I was five, I knew that golf would always be my passion. I remember the days when I couldn't hit the ball out of my own shadow but I'd spend hour after hour practicing my short game. After nine years abroad in the U.S. and Canada, I'm glad to be back in Sweden, finding my roots and remembering the days I learnt how to play golf.

Outside of golf my passions are Health & Fitness, dogs and country music. I'm also a mediocre ched who spends most of my time learning new things within golf & cooking but mainly about health & fitness.

MY CAREER

I started competing at a very young age in Sweden and started to climb the rankings. At 16 years of age I came in third in our biggest junior tournament. At the age of 18 I entered my first professional event (as an amateur) but quickly realized I had a long ways to go. At that moment I decided to try out College life in the States. After a roller coaster ride trying to find a school I somehow ended up at a Junior College in Los Angeles. What felt like the biggest mistake of my life when I landed in LA, ended up being the best something fantastic.

After a successful year in LA with two, the big schools started recruiting med. A few months later I started school at University of San Diego which were some of the best years of my life. At USD I had the privilege of getting to know some of the superstars of today such as Jon Rahm and Xander Shauffele, as well as my great friend and roommate Grant Forrest. During this time I learnt a copious amount about my own game and also what the best of the best do to get better. A win and countless wonderful memories later graduation was upon me along with turning pro.

After a rocky first year as a pro, I managed to qualify for the Mackenzie Tour (PGA Tour of Canada). After three missed cuts I once again realized that I was a long way from where I needed to be. The tour was filled with the superstars from college and many players that are now on the PGA Tour. In the next two events I finished top 15 and started to feel like I belonged there. I spent three years on that tour and in Canada which I will always cherish. I hope you all get to experience the Canadian rockies at some point in your lives. Truly unbelievable.

2019 I tried a different route towards the PGA Tour with Monday Qualifiers for both the PGA Tour and the Korn Ferry Tour. While I didn't make it through any Mondays I ended up winning two events, my only two professional wins. It was a roller coaster of a season to say the least but beating the former US Amateur champ in a playoff and holding off a former PGA Tour player in the other are some of the proudest memories of my career.

2020 like for many others was a year unlike anything else. What started as a trip back to Sweden to wait out the pandemic and to renew my passport, ended up with me moving back to my family here in Sweden. Leaving professional golf behind was very emotionally challenging for me but I couldn't be happier with my choice to become a teacher of the game instead. Now I want to teach you guys everything I've learnt over the years. I can't wait to host you at HaningeStrand Golf Club or to arrange a video lesson with you soon.

MY PHILOSOPHY

Golf really is the greatest game ever played. A sport as unique as you are. The challenge I look forward to as a teacher is to figure out what makes you unique and how to use it to your advantage. Golf swings come in all variations and all can be successful under the right guidance. What most great golfers have in common is how the body moves. If I can get you to move your body to the best of your ability, you'll hit your best golf shots as of yet. With a focus on how the body moves and individuality, I would like to become your new golf coach. I am very pleased to be back in Sweden, but I want to be available to you wherever you are. Through modern technology it's easier than ever to help you online. Regardless of what level you're at, I want you to get as much enjoyment out of the game as I have since I started playing this beautiful game in 1996 at the age of five.
